| Company activity in Liljendal The servicework began in 1988 home in the old workshop. We started to re-build forwarders to harvesters. The old workshop, now used as a place to paint machines, became too small and year 1995 began the building of a new modern workshop near Valtatie 6 in Liljendals´ industrial area. The new spaces made it possible to begin a servicecontract with Valmet Metsäkoneet Oy. From the year 1998 the cooperation expanded to service and sales of spare parts for Valtra agricultural tractors. Because of the constant expandation of the activities it became in year 2003 of high importance to expand with more manufacturing spaces. In 2008 Mecanil stated that the business more and more should concentrate on manufacturing and import/export. This brought the cooperation with Valtra to an end. Nowadays there are 10 people working in Mecanil. |
| Company activity in Tammisaari 1999-2008 When we earlier also worked as a forestry contractor in the South-Western Finland we realized that there was some lack of services for forestry machines. After this the whole Southern Finland became our workarea. The idea of a new serviceplace in Western Finland developed in the spring of 1998. The following winter the planning began and the serviceplace began its activities in November of 1999. From May 1st 2008 Mecanil Tammisaari has a new owner. |
